Delicious and easy-to-make apple pie biscuits that combine the flavors of apple pie with the convenience of biscuits.

- 1 can of buttermilk biscuits
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the Icing:
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the biscuit package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
- Open the can of buttermilk biscuits and separate them.
- Flatten each biscuit and place a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center.
- Fold the biscuit over the filling and seal the edges.
- Dip each biscuit in the butter mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake according to the biscuit package instructions until golden brown.
- While the biscuits are baking, prepare the icing by mixing the confectioners’ sugar and milk until smooth.
- Once the biscuits are done, drizzle the icing over them while they are still warm.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add chopped nuts to the apple pie filling.
- These biscuits are best served warm.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
