3–4 large russet potatoes, sliced into wedges
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
Optional: Fresh parsley or cilantro, ranch, or blue cheese dressing for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
1.1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray. - Prepare the Potato Wedges:
2.1. Wash and dry the potatoes. Slice each potato into 8-10 wedges.
2.2. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil until evenly coated. - Season the Potatoes:
3.1. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
3.2. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the potato wedges and toss to coat evenly. - Bake the Potatoes:
4.1. Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
4.2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, turning the wedges halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. - Add the Parmesan:
5.1. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the shredded parmesan cheese over the hot potato wedges.
5.2. Return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. - Serve:
6.1. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro, if desired.
6.2. Serve the potato wedges hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
