- ¼ cup basil leaves, chopped

- 8 oz feta cheese block, crumbled
- ½ block cream cheese (4 oz), softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- More basil leaves, chopped (for garnishing)
- Red pepper flakes (for garnishing)
- Parmesan cheese, freshly grated (for garnishing)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced Roma tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl, blend the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- In a serving dish, layer the cheese mixture at the bottom and top it with the tomato mixture.
- Garnish with additional chopped basil, red pepper flakes, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve with crackers, bread, or vegetables for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier dip, add more red pepper flakes.
- This dip can be made ahead of time; just assemble it before serving.
- Feel free to substitute the feta cheese with goat cheese for a different flavor.
