 - 1/2 cup (110 g) brown sugar, packed
 - 1 large egg
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 1 1/2 cups (190 g) all-purpose flour
 - 1/3 cup (30 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 - 1 cup shredded zucchini (squeezed to remove excess moisture)
 - 3/4 cup (130 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
 - Additional chocolate chips (for garnish)
 - Powdered sugar (for garnish)
 
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
 - Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
 - In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
 - Fold in the shredded zucchini and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
 - Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
 - Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
 - Optional: Garnish with additional chocolate chips and a dusting of powdered sugar before serving.

- Make sure to squeeze out excess moisture from the zucchini to prevent the cookies from becoming too wet.
 - These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
