- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
- 1 can of cherry pie filling (21 oz)
- Optional: 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
- Prepare Pie Crusts:
Roll out the refrigerated pie crusts on a lightly floured surface. Using a round cookie cutter or the rim of a glass, cut circles out of the pie crusts to fit into the muffin tin.
- Assemble the Pie Bites:
Place the pie crust circles into the muffin tin, pressing them gently to fit. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of cherry pie filling into each pie crust.
- Add Sugar (Optional):
If desired, sprinkle a little granulated sugar over the top of each cherry-filled pie bite.
- Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pie crusts are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Cool and Serve:
Allow the cherry pie bites to cool in the muffin tin for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or at room temperature.
