  • 1 ½ cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and spices.
  3. Add the canned pumpkin, vegetable oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the batter.
  6. Carefully pour hot water over the entire mixture in the baking dish.
